1. Where is this park?

It is located at the southern end of the river between Hannam Bridge in the upper stream and Dongjak Bridge in the lower stream, centering on Banpo Bridge in Seocho-gu and Heukseok-dong in Dongjak-gu.

In Banpo Hangang Park, created by the Han River Renaissance Project, the moonlight rainbow fountain on both sides of Banpo Bridge is 1,140m long (570m up and down) and is listed as the world's longest bridge fountain in 2008. It creates beautiful scenery every time water is sprayed, providing a variety of attractions and entertainment.

There are also sports facilities such as a waterdrop playground, inline hub, soccer field, and basketball court. An observatory is installed at the southern end of Dongjakdaegyo Bridge, where you can enjoy the wide sky and riverside building forest over the open Han River. Seorae Island is popular as a walking course around Seorae Island when flowers bloom by planting crops such as rape and buckwheat depending on the season. Enjoy five senses at Banpo Hangang Park while cycling, jogging, and walking in the cool river breeze as the 7.2km bike path and trail connecting Yeouido and Jamwon Hangang Park are separated.

 

If you use the subway, you can walk up from Exit 8-1 of Express Bus Terminal Station.

 

It takes about 20 minutes on foot from Express Bus Terminal Station.

2. Information on facilities and usage

Seorae Island, which provides citizens with a rest and play area in the city center, is an artificial island created through the comprehensive development of the Han River in the 1980s. Seorae Island is located between Banpo Bridge and Dongjak Bridge, and three bridges are connected to Banpo Hangang Park, adding convenience. Seorae Island transforms into a wide canola flower in spring. The rape flower garden is a space where children can play freely with nature and use it as a nature learning center thanks to butterflies and birds that flew in search of scent.

Matters to be observed when using the park are as follows.

 - Use only as a given observation
 - a leash when accompanied by a pet
 - Don't pick vegetables.
 - quitting smoking
 - non-cooking
 - Take back trash (penalty fee 100,000 won for violations)
 - Riding a bicycle and in-line slowly
 - Clean use of facilities
 - Don't come in on a motorcycle.
 - Don't shout or talk loudly
 - Compliance with installation permitted places when using shade screens
