1. What is this food?

Spicy Sausage Stew is a stew boiled with budae meat, and as the U.S. military began to be stationed in Korea shortly after liberation, a lot of supplies supplied to the U.S. military were leaked to the private sector. Among them, the meat left over or secretly taken out from the U.S. military unit was called budae meat, and the stew boiled with budae meat was called Budaejjigae.

Since then, even after ham and sausage were officially distributed to the private sector, stews were cooked and sold in restaurants using this recipe.
